I have located references to three different Chinese studies, unfortunately the articles are unavailable to me and so I cannot report on methodology.

The earliest study was 1963 in Lanzhou and reported by Shi Chengli. The average length found among 1412 men studied was 8.40 cm for flaccid length.

The next study (1988)conducted in Sichuan province by Zhang Sijiao involved 2029 men and reported and average flaccid length of 7.21 cm +/- 2.59 cm.

In 1990 in the Shanghai area by Zhu Huibin involved 900 subjects with an average flaccid length of 6.9 cm +/- 1.40 cm.

In 1992 Wu Weicheng and Yang Wenzhi recruited 2547 from the Beijing area and found an average flaccid length of 7.43 cm +/- 1.04 cm; a stretched length of 13.34 cm +/- 1.20 cm; and an erect length of 13.08 +/- 1.12 cm.

Rough translation: The flaccid length all hover around 3 inches. The one that reports erect size is a shade over 5 inches--faily consistent with other studes. What this tends to indicate is that while the average Asian dick size may be less than for other races, the difference is not significant. However, I think Asians, based on the ones I know, are lest self-conscious about their size than are Westerners.
